Solar Panels

Solar PV - How it works

Put simply, Solar PV panels work by converting sunlight into electricity.

  • Solar panels absorb sunlight to produce electrical energy.

  • The inverter converts the absorbed energy into useful electricity.

  • The generated electricity is fed into your home or business and used as normal.

  • Surplus electricity can either be utilised for other things, such as heating water, or fed back to the utility grid (from which you can receive a payment).

They are designed to be virtually maintenance free and will start to generate electricity from the first day that they are connected.

Installing Solar PV panels is an important investment that will allow you to offset energy prices and also mitigate the environmental
impact that generating electricity by fossil fuels causes.
